Deals in Main Search

  • Blocked image asset pages from being indexed by search engines.
  • Tag pages being indexed by search pages now redirect to the new Search Results page.
  • Increased the text size of Quick Posts pages on mobile for better readability.
  • Fixed a bug where products weren’t populating in scroll rows when category and deal filters were applied simultaneously.
  • Fixed the issue where multiple pages on the Homescreen were being indexed by search engines.
  • Fixed the “6” being cut off in the 6 Months Later icon in the Quick Post feed.

V 2.5 – June 2, 2026

New Features:

A New Search Experience

  • With our new and improved Site Search, you can search across posts, products, quick posts, and site pages.
  • Our Search logic has also been completely rewritten to handle better and more complex searches, providing the most relevant results by default; however, you now also have the option to sort by oldest or newest as well:

Quick Posts Get Their Own Pages

  • Remember seeing a Quick Post you want to go back to, but don’t want to go digging for it? Well, now you can use Site Search to search for quick posts and view them on their own dedicated page.
    • In the future, you’ll be able to more directly engage with our quick posts. Stay tuned for that!
    • We’re also exposing quick posts to Google and other search engines/AI programs for the first time.

Improvements/Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug where 6 Months Later Quick Posts weren’t displaying the 6 Months Later Logo, but instead the Links logo in the Quick Post feed.

Backend

  • New Search Analysis area in WordPress backend (custom build) that allows us to track searches across the site and identify any issues using standard industry benchmarks.
    • Any personally identifiable information entered in our site search (email addresses, phone numbers, addresses) is not stored by our analytics system. It is stripped out and not captured in our search logs. Search logs are deleted automatically every 90 days.
  • Product Searches now have their own URLs.

V 2.1 – April 16, 2026

New Features

These are rolling out to post pages first, and will then roll out to more pages across the site.

  • New text size adjustment buttons for written review transcripts.
  • Dark Mode for review transcripts.
    • By default, this matches your device’s current state when the page loads, but you can toggle it at any time.
    • If you accidentally refresh the page, don’t worry, your text settings and dark mode preferences are preserved as long as you have the tab open. Once you close the tab, those preferences refresh to their default.

Improvements/Bug fixes

  • Retailers under the “More Retailers” on product cards now correctly appear in alphabetical order.

Backend

  • Fixed disappearing product search box when no products were found.
  • Removed Adorama from the affiliate program to reflect a change in partnership status.
