Pebble Smartwatches are coming back from the dead.

Eric Migicovsky, founder of the smartwatch company, announced that thanks to Google open-sourcing PebbleOS, Eric and a small team can now start the journey of releasing a brand-new Pebble Smartwatch.

We’re still having issues with the Kindle Colorsoft.

Our replacement from Amazon appears even more yellow, though now the band is technically less noticeable.

Got a replacement #Kindle #Colorsoft and I can't tell if its worse than the first one I got (it had the yellow band at the bottom). My replacement, which was refurbished instead of new, appears even more yellow?

According to an article from The Verge by Jennifer Pattison Tuohy, a new technology called Sensify is coming to Zigbee switches, bulbs, and plugs that can turn them into sensors with a simple firmware update. This technology is apparently how Philips Hue plans to bring ambient sensing to its smart lights.

Matter speakers could stream music.

According to an article from The Verge by Jennifer Pattison Tuohy, an effort is underway to add Wi-Fi-powered speakers to the matter smart home standard. But given Matter’s rocky rollout so far, don’t go thinking this will solve the issue of casting from an Android phone to Sonos speakers. Also, speaker groups will remain part of a speaker’s ecosystem.
