Qi2 25W charging is coming to select Android phones and iPhones later this year.

Wireless charging speeds will now top out at 25W compared to 15W on most smartphones today. You can read more about it from The Verge here.

Google is adding new tiers to its smart home platform.

You’ll be able to choose between new ‘Member’ and ‘Admin’ tiers, which will make it easier for friends and family to adjust things without screwing up your whole setup. You can check out Google’s blog post for more info.

Nothing announces the Phone (3) with an extremely polarizing design.

The successor to the Nothing Phone (2), which we previously reviewed, has finally been unveiled, and it’s…well, a lot. We’ll plan to review this one, too, as well as the company’s first-ever over-the-ear headphones.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a brand go from creating such an iconic and cool design with their previous phone to whiffing it this badly with the next generation.

Adobe launches a new computational photography app for the iPhone.

In a blog post, the company laid out its vision for the new app, how it works, why it’s necessary, and what it does differently to achieve better-looking photos out of a smartphone.

Google finally added the ability to skip through podcasts on the Pixel Watch.

It took almost 4 years to get this feature, which seems crazy, but I'm glad the Pixel Watch finally lets you skip forward and back when a podcast is playing.

Google expands Google Home features in a soft-launch.

As reported by The Verge, Nest Cam picture-in-picture on Google TV, new Gemini smart home controls, automation tweaks, and more are coming to Google’s smart home platform.

Nothing teases Phone (3), its first flagship phone.

We’ve been fascinated by this company ever since we reviewed the Phone (2). They released a new conversation on their YouTube channel with CEO Carl Pei, as he answers questions about the tech space, smartphone development, and teases details about the two new products Nothing plans to launch on July 1st: the Nothing Headphone (1) and Phone (3). It was pretty interesting.

Apple significantly overhauls iPadOS to be more Mac like (but its still missing downloading apps from the web).

With iPadOS 16, users will finally enjoy enhanced multitasking, improved background tasks, a more powerful Files app, a Preview iPadOS app, and more. You can read more about it on Apple’s site, as well as in the video below, which we’ve set to the iPadOS part of the keynote.

Apple borrows features Pixel users have enjoyed for years.

With iOS 26, iPhone users will now not only enjoy better handling of spam calls and text messages, but also get two new features similar to the ones Pixel phones have had: Call Screening and Hold Assist.

Apple launches a new visual design language for its products.

Liquid Glass is coming to iOS, MacOS, iPadOS, WatchOS, VisionOS, tvOS, and CarPlay later this year.
